OutSpoken

For too long, young people from disadvantaged communities have not been told of the importance of their voices.

Amini is dedicated to focusing on that narrative. Our public speaking project is about giving young people the skills and confidence they need to be heard. By equipping them with the necessary tools and techniques to speak persuasively. We are breaking down barriers and creating a more inclusive society.

We understand that our work doesn’t end with just imparting language skills. We’re investing in the future of these young people and their communities. By empowering them to take control of their own futures and express themselves with confidence, we’re setting them up for success.

Our public speaking project, OutSpoken, is designed to empower young high school students from disadvantaged communities by teaching them the art of expressing themselves fluently in both English and any of the eleven official languages. It is our mission to make this skill accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic background or gender.

There is a common misconception in society that suggests that native African languages are inferior when compared to English. Amini has embarked on a mission to address these misconceptions by having a public speaking project within its portfolio of projects. We believe that effective communication is a fundamental human right and should not be reserved for the privileged.

We invite you to join us in this important mission. Together, we can help build a world where everyone has the opportunity to express themselves with clarity and confidence. Become part of a movement that is inspiring change and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
